It's been some time since I've last blogged. Well, I was oversea but when I was back I was just so tired and busy unpacking and settling stuff. Finally, today is a free day but its unintentional because I thought I was going out with my family but in the end it was cancelled. Somehow...?
14 October 2012 Anyways, first and foremost, USS trip with Charlene, YanLing and my sis. Well... it's sure a different experience this time. The rides like transformer3D ride, BattleStar Galactica (BSG) and the Revenge of the Mummy (ROM) were awesome as always but the thing is, we were quite bored of the rides because we've been there, we know every single thing that was going to happen. When that happens, there was no surprise or adenaline or whatsoever. Well, that was mostly the feeling for ROM only.
On our way through the long passageway to the ROM ride which was full of turns at corners, two people wanted to scare their other 2 friends whom I think purposely waited for us to walk before them. They jumped out of the corner thinking that we were their friends and the four of us were screaming and screaming out of our wits. Of course if you're seperated from those people you're with, you'll be half expecting someone to pop out to scare you but when someone else comes out unexpectedly, the shock is 10 times worse. The moment after that was so funny when the two of them were apologizing again and again while all of us were laughing at each other's response. Totally the joke of the day.
Okay, the new stuff that I've tried/saw on this time's trip was:
1. Riding ROM with the 4 of us being the only people in the cart (Idk what you call it) It was... more scary than usual. I guess because we were sitting in the first row and it was so quiet that it was scary.
2. Watching Sesame street parade show It was fun to see the mascots of the sesame street characters dancing. The costumes were really well made and they danced very well. Very entertaining especially for children but as it progressed it was quite boring so we left early.
3. Louis pizza The large American pizza! The taste was fine and average in my opinion only that the thin crust was my fav. We ordered the whole pizza which was really huge and we were so full just after eating one and a half slice of pizza. Gulp!
4. Sitting in the 'wet zone' when watching Waterworld Most people got soaked but we were not even drenched. It was spectacular as usual with all the fire and action. The popular Gangnam style was also included in the show!
5. Monster Rock During my trips to USS, usually this does not really catch my attention and on that day, we were just walking by when the show was going to start in the huge theatre so we simply decided to go for this musical without even knowing what's on. The musical was extremely spectacular with different people dressed up as characters like a vampire, Frankenstein, wolfman and wolf girl (Idk what they are called), mummy lady, and so on that I cannot remember. They danced to songs like Low, Nobody and one of Lady Gaga's songs (bad romance I think). The singers were extremely skillful and they were all able to dance very well. A very entertaining and energetic performance. Definitely on the must see list for the next visit to USS!
All these was all the new stuff tried out that I can remember. Overall we took Shrek 4D once, Rapids Adventure once, ROM twice, BSG human once, BSG cylon thrice and transformers twice. On the other hand, we watched Waterworld, the sesame street parade as well as Monster Rock.
Going to USS this time really made me think back on the times I spent working there and I really really miss working there! I even met up with one of my team leaders whom I worked with last time and he was... well, not really surprised to see me there and willing to give me discount (Yay!). Most likely the plan I have is to go back once again after I grad from polywhile I wait for my entry to Uni!
Well, like all oversea trips, the Malaysia trip had its bad and good points. Basically we stayed on the bus most of the time especially for the first day because it was an estimate of 10 hours bus ride to reach penang. I was so drained the day before because it was the day I went USS, I fell asleep peacefully the on the way to penang~
The hotels we stayed at was quite luxurious and both were rated 5 star in Malaysia! Even though we spent most of the time on the bus, the more I slept, the more tired I was so basically I was awake all the time. Anyways, I didn't really mind because I love long bus rides~ Well.... nothing much to write about the trip though, nothing much really happened but it was fine with all my friends there. There was nothing much to buy as well but I bought delicious white coffee in hazelnut, mocha and caramel flavour. Yummyyyy.
And yes, I cut my hair. It was a super sudden decision because I having a bad hair day. Super short now like a boy! But I'm still lovin it!
On the last day of the trip was my 5th monthsary!!! <3
I've also checked my timetable whilst in Malaysia. It's good that I got the modules I wanted and well... I find my timetable quite alright. Monday 8-6, Tuesday 9-6, Wednesday 8-6, Thursday 12-6, Friday 10-6. There will also be many new faces because we're all spilt up due to our concentrations and many new lecturer faces as well. Honestly, I'm super duper excited but somehow unprepared to go to school on Monday. It's like my body is looking forgot to go but my heart and mind are still not believing that its starting!
