It's almost a week since I last blogged. Most lessons were cancelled this week but the tests did not make the week more smooth and less tiring. Still, like every other school week, I am glad the weekends are here because its time to slack and sleep long hours without any disturbances.
13 November 2012 It was Deepavali and my cousin's wedding! Well, it's been a long time since I've attended a wedding. The last time was... like 2 years ago for my form teacher's wedding so I was kind of anticipating it. Going to a beautiful wedding hall with everyone all dressed up in pretty dresses and tux. Actually I felt that it was just an excuse for myself to feel good dressing up this once in a long while. Such events do not come often. And so I was super pampered on that day like a total princess. I headed down to a make up studio near my house with my mum, sis and Yanling to have makeup on and free manicure. Not a very bad job by the make up artist and I had my nails painted shiny dark red which is also the colour I always choose when I'm stuck in choosing colours. It a really first time experience of getting professional makeup on and all of us were like giggling at each other because it's like a totally new look.

she kept denying it!
It was a nice night at the wedding and it somehow made me consider about my own wedding in the future with my bf. A day when 2 people are known to be officially together for life is like such a day that I would cry buckets of water due to joy.
16 November 2012 Unlike many other days, I woke up very willingly as yesterday was TP CCN day. There was only be the internship talk and I was going to watch Pitch Perfect with Huimin and my bf! CCN day was different this year but the food like hot dogs and smores are simply delicious! (If you don't know what are smores, they are like 2 biscuits with a layer of chocolate and melted marshmellow in between). And there was just this booth that offers polaroid service and you can pose with the cute and furry dogs they had. Oh my gosh, I want a little doggie so badly.
Also, this day marks the first time a boy has ever given me a flower (Other than my father)! My sweet bf gave me a folded blue rose he bought from a store from CCN. Although it was just $2, I still felt so happy! Having your first flowers from a guy seems to be a little late when it happens to you when you're 18 but I guess better late than never!
I also did hanna for the first time of my life and it was drawn by a TP student. ^^
We catched Pitch Perfect at Tampines and the show was amazing. Beautiful melodies and I really enjoyed the way people were enjoying music together, singing and dancing and rapping. The beats the main actress made was also sick and I think I enjoyed it because it's my fav genre of music.
Well, the disappointing thing was that plans of going clubbing with Charlene and Yanling was cancelled. I was a little taken aback when I heard it was going to be cancelled because I had anticipated my first time experience for some time and when it is just gone right in front of you I guess it's hard to hold back the disappointment. Nevertheless, there is no point dwelling on something you can't change. So, I simply accepted it because I know there will be more chances in the future.
