It's Christmas eve today and since it's just about 1 hour and 15 minutes to midnight, I'm staying up once again to wait for the arrival of my favourite festival of the year. Christmas is actually the commemoration of the birth of the one & only Jesus Christ! And every once in a year, on this very day, I feel that I really miss going to church.
When people mention about Christmas, candy canes, presents, beautifully decorated and decorate trees and food such as turkey, ham & logcakes come to mind. The thing I am actually looking forward right now is actually the ham and logcake and I know I'm being such a glutton but every year it is superrr delicious.
As usual, there will be a christmas party with all my uncle, aunts, cousins, niece and nephew coming over to celebrate together. I've been doing loads of christmas shopping with my family lately and I've finally finished wrapping all of them just about 2 hours ago (I know, super last minute). Shopping for presents may be a very mind wrecking thing but it's actually something I really enjoyed because I just love buying stuff, even though they are not for myself. I'm a hot santa-rina tmr! ;)
Wrapping all of these also reminds me of how things were last time when I was young. Our christmas gift exchange was very simple because each of us from the younger generation only needed to buy a single present for a random gift exchange. Thinking back now really makes me more aware that things have changed and we've all grown up. Even though I want to stay as a little kid forever.
Enough of reminiscing,during a really last minute christmas shopping with my dad today, he bought me christmas presents that I love so much!
1) 2 charms to add onto the Pandora basic set
I didn't wear this bracelet very often because I felt that the basic set was really plain and boring. But today, it all changed when my dad allowed me to select 2 more charms to add on! After a long time of being a plain and boring sliver bracelet, it was reborned! I specially picked out the chio crown and the super cute camera.
2) The super cute and freaking amazing kuma kuma has envolved into a Tori
I've heard about the change to the original design of my beloved kuma kuma but I haven't had the chance to see it with my own eyes until today. It was so cute that I had to buy it.
The christmas hype is what I love the most throughout the year but I wished it would snow in Singapore because making snowman and snow angels are also like very christmas-ish stuff to do. But I hope that that does not happen for real because it would most likely mean that the world is really going to end.
