It's a exactly one week to my mum's birthday and as I've mentioned in an earlier post, I would be making a crystalite trinket box for her! Reason being is that I want to give her something hand-made since I've so much free time and the crystals on the box would remind her of me everytime she sees it. ^^ Haha.
The box has spaces on the sides and the top for the beads to go on and although this is for aged 3 and above, it was hard work for me to complete it! I spent about 1 hour and 45 minutes just for the cover and the beads were really tiny and they run all over the place. I know I'm a messy person in a way. But I still managed to get it done beautifully and I'm really proud of myself for completing it!
And and, this is definitely not for small kids to do alone! I'm about 6 times the allowed age that is considered safe to do this and I had a hard time :( The photos were taken by my just bling-ed cam and I had problem focusing it so it's blur :( The orange, purple and yellow beads given looked really beautiful together and they are one of my favourite colour combinations so I was happy to use them. On the other hand, they gave an extra packet of pink beads and I really hate pink but the pink was pretty (Though I hate to admit it!) so I used it as minimal as possible! Since the top was hard to complete, I'm hesitating to start on the sides because it is really hard to do the sides especially the top and bottom of the heart. How the hell would the beads stick? And yes, it's also because I'm just plain lazy. This is the best and most-used excuse I have used. ;)
