Holiday Planssss

34
It's around 1 week left for me to enjoy my holiday in Singapore and I've been looking through the internet for some stuff to do because I'm lazy to go out everyday so I need stuff to keep me busy when I'm at home.

As many would know, I'm love using the computer because there are just simply too many things I can do like playing maple, blogging, youtube-ing and Sims. Don't judge me, I'm not some computer freak!

But, since I've change to Windows 8 because I was sick of my old lousy computer that has the disk drive spoilt and the USB drive with problems, I changed to a Vaio laptop. The thing about this Vaio laptop is that I did not pick it up personally in the store because it was at a time I needed to study for my exams. The only reason I approved of it after my sister sent me a mere picture through wadsapp is because it's black and red which are my favourite colours! xD And you can't find just any laptop that has this colour combination.

One thing I regretted was the Windows 8 which is hard to use in the beginning and I had to keep referring to the manual just to find buttons. Like the start button is not visible on the bottom left side of the screen but you've to lean your mouse on the top right hand corner of the screen and the menu that has the start button will appear. So mafan! I can still remember I couldn't find the shut down button the first time I used it.

The real downside of it is... that I can't download things for I don't know what reason. For example, maple. A direct download would always have errors and although transferring the game file through thumbdrive would work but when the patch comes, there's error AGAIN. And as a result, I've not played since like... my study week? Which was like 2-3 weeks ago.

The really shitty thing about it to me is that I can't download anything at all. Like even Adobe Illustrator's Trials and when I tried with my former laptop, it worked totally fine. Thanks alot Windows 8.

I'm not sure if it's because I don't know how to use Windows 8 in the first place but I've heard similar complains from others as well so I guess I'm not the only one!

So as I've said, I actually found some stuff to do for this one week and I believe it's enough to keep my busy. I'm actually going out to buy the stuff today I need so I'm kind of excited!

- Bling my camera
- Baking
- Crystalite Trinket Box (For my mum's birthday!)
- Making a sock plushie (Already done but gonna redo!)
- Of course, shopping

I know it's childish and the crystalite trinket box is for like ages 6 and above but I'm still going to do it because I know in my mum's heart that I'm still a little girl. It would be like a really hands-on and DIY kind which I love because my mum practically has everything that she wants like Coach bags and expensive jewellery so this is something she can never buy with all the money she has!

For the sock plushie, I've made it for my friend who's going to Australia for the upcoming internship sometime in late april so I wanted a piece of me with her. It's super duper easy to make with simple materials. I'm going to redo it some other day because the one I made had some errors and I've run out of buttons to sew on and I'm NOT going to sacrifice my clothes by cutting out their buttons. So I guess I'll do another blog entry when I'm done with the second one. :)

By the way, I think that my mum and that friend would not read my blog so I actually feel safe posting this. I'm putting 'that friend' because I've 2 friends going to Australia so even if one of them reads, they'll not know who I'm referring to. Heh heh.

Going down to around town area to get all my stuff today. So, I'm signing off really early. ;)
