T.G.I.F! Finally, it's the end of the week and time for a good rest. Since my last working experience was not as stressful or as tiring as my job now, going out on friday nights are simply awesome. Especially since it has been a long time since I've seen my friends, I felt very awake all of a sudden despite being very shagged! Huimin is leaving for Australia next wed so somehow today's get-together is also meant for saying goodbye to her. Haha, saying goodbye sounds like farewell forever but it's only 4 months but I'm so going to miss her lah. When I was living with my aunt over at Clementi, the environment was very different from Pasir Ris and I felt like I was in another country. But I could not even tahan a week, let alone 4 months! Can't imagine how things are going to be for her... But she promised to skype so maybe I can send her some goodies if it looks like she lost weight over there. Hehe. I bet she is so going to miss Singapore food.
So it was really an enjoyable night and just going out to chill on a friday night after a tough and stressful week of work is really awesome! I must jio them out again but Huimin will not be in Singapore from next week on so.... sian! Being an awesome friend of hers, I made something from the heart for her! Not those packet with instructions that guide you, I made a sock plushie by myself. She looked like she really liked it which made me super relieved uh. Hope she will bring it to Australia and be reminded of me when she sees it but just don't come back and think of me as a snowman okayyyy.
I didn't figure how to do it myself but I got the how-to-make from none other than... YouTube! Yes, the place where you can learn how to do almost anything. I don't have a sewing machine and don't bother getting one so I simply did the sewing manually. The hat is blue because I know her favourite colour is blue hehe. All the materials used are from daiso and some cheap socks shop. Yes, you can actually make such a little cutie with simple and cheap items ;)
