Hair: Palty Bubble Bubble Marshmallow Ash

34
It's a Saturday night and I'm currently in the process of dye-ing my hair. I'm going wash off my dye in like 5 minutes and I'm very nervous. Why nervous? I'll say later because I'm just so nervous and excited right now!

My mum just walked in awhile ago and she said she could not tell there is a change in my hair colour. I guess it may be probably because my room's yellow lightning and it's night time now so she just can't see it clearly. OR the dye sucks and the colour is not appearing... which I hope it's not the case uh!

Okay I'm going to go wash off right now..........................

Okay, finally done with washing all of the dye off my hair and I remained in that squatting position in front of my bathtub for super longgg. The stupid thing is that the easiest way to tell if all the dye is off is to see if the water used is not transparent but my bathtub is dark blue so I can't tell if there is any colour omgggg.

So I guess it's time to talk about everything I did for my hair this evening to night!

So I was at Watsons and staring at the shelf with all the hair dyes from head to toe for a very long time before I finally decided to buy this brand known as Palty! I initially wanted to by Liese but the colour of Palty dyes was more attractive to me but I know I can never ever get that shade but still I decided to go with this~

Palty Bubble Bubble Marshmallow Ash :D

The hair colour of the girl is like so gorgeous right? I know I can never get this kind of hair colour uh, especially since it's only a cheap DIY hair dye bought at only $16.90

After buying the dye, I actually went online and searched for reviews about this product because I've only seen this brand once or twice. Unfortunately, the 3 reviews I read about from blogs said that this dye is bad and they won't recommend it to others. One of the blogger even said that her hair turned black but also because she didn't read the instructions properly and leaving the dye too long would lead to the hair turning black instead. Luckily I read her review or else I would be too lazy to read the instructions carefully.

Reading the review actually made me really confused and I was not sure if I should go ahead to dye my hair because I really love my hair alot and ruining it would be.... (Nothing that I can say would be able to depict the consequences).

Whoever reads until here would confirm know that I decided to go ahead in the end and dye my hair with this brand of dye because of the first photo of this post is a pic of me with all the dye on my hair. I know I know~

Because I'm tired of boring black hair. Yes, my hair dye from previously is fading and my hair is basically black with brown highlights. Along with the black roots growing, it's hard to tolerate any longer. Simply ugly ttm!

Also, it is my first time dye-ing my hair myself so I was pretty nervous and until now I am still worried that I did not apply the dye evenly. Previously it was either Charlene or a hairdresser doing it but I decided not to bother Charlene this time and try it out myself!

Overall, I think I did pretty well. It was super hard to see because no one can ever look at his/her own back of the head right?

Until now, my family keeps telling me that they don't see any difference but I would beg to differ. No, I am not in denial but I really think it's different! See for yourself!

BEFORE
Pudding camera effect but hair colour is the same

AFTER
100% no effects

If whoever you are sees the after photo and not think there is any difference,
look closer, closer & CLOSER!
I know I should have used the same lightning but whatever lah xD

I guess if you really compare the photos side by side, it looks really different so I'm not in denial that theres no difference okay! Just gonna wait a few days for the colour to turn lighter. Anyw, I love the last photo of myself with ugly black hair and I guess it will be a long time before I go back to boring black hair again. Just saying~

Alright, back to topic on the dye and not my hair, the thing I LIKED about it was that when I squeezed out all the cream and mix with the liquid given, there was really a fruity smell that was super sweet smelling. Usually the dyes would be super smelly and by the time I finish with my hair, my nose would be totally on fire!

The foam was easy formed and the dye was purple in colour! Like Lavender with some dark purple chunks. Okay, wth why am I commenting about the dye colour, thats not important but it was nice btw.

The thing I loved the most was... the conditioner they provided in a little packet! Even though it was very little in quantity, it was awesome. My hair is short so I don't have any knots in my hair but after the washing and shampoo-ing, my hair had this rough feeling (Like my hair is super duper spoilt) and there were knots and I began to panic!

BUT! Just applying this conditioner made my hair super smooth! Oh, and rewind abit back, when I was washing the dye off, it made my hair really soft! Knots happened after I shampoo-ed. I swear they should totally sell the conditioner in bottles so people like me would buy. I don't ever use conditioners (Except for foc ones in hotelsss) but I can tell that this one is awesome. How would I know? I just know ;)

No lah, I saw other bloggers writing good comments on the conditioner as well and I only used cheapo hotel conditioners so of course I've not had a good experience with conditioners like this one.

To sum it up, I can't really decide if this dye is bad or what because I just used it like 2 hours ago so I guess I would wait for a few days and then compare with my awesome-last-black-hair-photo. So far it's not bad but we'll see :)
