It is 1.44am and I'm still awake waiting for my hair to dry after bathing to go to sleep. Now, it is Sunday and exactly one week to Mother's Day! Incase anyone who is reading doesn't know when is Mother's Day, it's 12 May 2013 which is next Sunday.
My mother's birthday just passed like 2 months ago and I've been cracking to decide what to give her this time but there is just nothing that comes to mind because my mom has everything she wants! Branded bags, expensive jewellery and of course, me! Okay, I know I'm bhb ttm.
So, after considering and considering, I decided to do something more hands on. I mean, I love it when people give me things that are made by themselves and made it to be very personalized so I guess others may love it this way as well! Oh and, my mother doesn't even know the existence of my blog so I've no worries at all that she would find out about this ;)
I've never shown anyone except for my family my sketches and apparently, I drew an anime character for my sister during her graduation not long ago. I know no one has known me for the girl who can draw very well and I think that my expertise level is also not that high lah. But for someone like me who only knows how to use a pencil and sketch here and there, this is already not bad alright!
Lacus Clyne from the anime Gundam Seed
The only thing that was really out in the picture is the face shape I guess? I made her have a very chubby cheek when it is soooo not suppose to be likethat. Just one line made her more cute lah but it's not how its suppose to be.
AND AND AND I HAVE TO SAY THIS, I drew this picture the day before giving her so it was super duper last minute and I remember I was rushing to go out on that day. A 30 minute job and first time drawing an anime type of picture. Not bad already right!? I know I have loads of excuses but they are true!
I remember when I was small I used to just print out anime pictures and paste on the wrapper of presents for my sis so now, when I thought of that I was like, 'Hah! I upgrade already. I draw them instead. *smirks*'
I actually went to Spotlight today to look around because that is the place with best materials for handicraft stuff but it's slightly overpriced... No, scratch that. Most of the things are overpriced. So I decided to draw in the end. But actually, I've no idea what to draw also. Haha. I was so excited because I finally came up with an idea on what to give my mom and when my dad asked me what I was going to draw I was immediately speechless. Like 'Er........ *Looks away*'.
So I guess I would try to get it done ASAP because school work is beginning to piled up too so I would be more and more tired in the weeks to come. I would post a picture of the finished product but if it's super ugly and would throw my face on the ground I would not post it up lah. No guarantee at all.
And finally... it's already 2.00 am and I'm still here so I'm just gonna end this post here. Signing off!
