Hellooooooo! It's my third day of quarantine and ALSO, the first time I'm opening my room window to let the fresh air in. As clear as the title shows, today's rant topic is going to be about the terrible haze that has been upon Singapore for a few days. I heard it would be back just that the wind direction is not to us for now so let's just hope it remains this way ya? For days and days, people have been fussing and updating all the different social websites all the time or looking up the NEA website to check the PSI level. The most annoying thing is that, people COMPLAIN. I get it. People are people. And people complain. It's human nature and we have to right to complain. I complain too. Not trying to point fingers to anyone in particular but many have been just complaining on social networks especially Twitter. It's okay to complain but these people complain THE WHOLE DAY FOR DAYS. I guess some just have nothing better to do. Jeez people, I don't know how long you can hold your anger for so long about something you can't change. Okay, you may be angry about it. But you DO NOT HAVE TO KEEP TELLING THE WORLD. Yes, some may beg to defer that there is nothing wrong because social networks are free spaces for people to say whatever and how much they want. BUT, have they thought about people being able to see what they have written? It's called SOCIAL network for a reason. Doing so would just lead to people judging them and being annoyed (like me sometimes -.- can't help it). Alright, before turning the whole post into social networking rants, the haze has went up to hazardous PSI numbers a few days ago so people, remember a few things if the haze somehow (touchwood) comes back once again: 1. Drink loads of water. Well, actually you should do so even if there is no haze lah ;) If you don't like water like me, find a chio cup and you'll find that you'll be more motivated to drink water. I'M SERIOUS! It worked for me ;)
2. For those wearing contact lenses, you may want to avoid wearing them if the PSI gets too high. Its not a very good thing to wear contacts because it's easier for your eyes to get dry and it makes your eye uncomfortable.
3. Wear a mask whenever you are outdoors. If you can, get an N95! Why? For obvious reasons duh!
Yup and that's all from me today! Enjoy the fresh air while the PSI is in normal range! ;)
