It's Saturday and due to my quarantine, I am sadly still at home away from people and this actually cost me to miss, in my opinion, one of the best parties ever because Charlene is hosting a party with her friends at Capella! Anyway, I'm super annoyed and sad that I cannot go. So, I'm here to rant about a hot topic now of days and the post title says it all. It's the Hello Kitty craze! Basically, Macdonalds has had Hello Kitty toys on sale before and the ones sold last time was really nice with elaborate details such as princess crowns and nicely made costumes for the Hello Kitty. Apparently I was too young so I don't remember a thing but my dad told me he regretted spending loads and loads of time just to get them! Once again, Macdonalds has introduced a new set of Hello Kitties and this time not so extreme, they only released 1 design for a period of time.
Well, I, for one, do not have much particular liking toward Hello Kitty BUT I do find these really cute. Because of my out of control viral fever period, I do not have a single kitty because I could not eat anything from Macs.
Today is the 29th which means it's the period for the limited edition Hello Kitty x The Singing Bone. Apparently the huge thing is that people actually queued OVERNIGHT just for these kitties! And yes, you can imagine the amount of shock when I say that. I AM SUPER DUPER SHOCKED.
How do I about all these? It's all over the news if you do not check. People actually took videos of themselves/others fighting/arguing with the Macdonald staff about the kitty.
Honest opinion of mine, I think those people who purposely took videos of themselves or their friends quarreling to gain attention are just, sorry to say, dumb. To me, their intentions are actually backfired right back into their faces.
I mean... why are you making such a big fuss over... HELLO KITTIES!? It's a stuffed toy and not having one does not mean that you will die. Yes, it may be a limited edition. But so what? After buying the only thing you can just put it on display and I bet everytime you look at it you will only feel the pain of queuing so long for it lorh.
