Okay lah, not really lights camera action. When people in USS snap pictures for guests, they don't say 1, 2, 3 but lights camera and action! Anyways, if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, I mentioned that I made a visit to the studio about a week ago to snap some photos! What kind of photos? Hahahaha. That's the most funny thing. My sister has graduated from University and usually people would take the opportunity to snap family photos! Yes, that is exact what I did. TO ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT GRADUATED FROM POLY/UNIVERSITY: You may need to go there in future to rent your robe for graduation or take family photos! :)
The place we went to was Serangoon Broadway which is a really high class looking studio place! The staff there are just so-so though but still approachable. If you want to take photos there in future, the renting of robes and makeup by makeup artists are FOC too!
Me after makeup hahaahahaha! Camwhore in the changing room :X
So the cameramen were going 'Okay, smile wider!' or 'Move left abit, no too much abit to the right...'. Yes, it is annoying but I didn't get any of those 'orders' so I feel so lucky hahaahah. I have always wanted to be in like professional studio and taking photos but now I finally realize that I look better 3D than 2D. What do I mean? Haha. Means I don't look good in photos lah. I admit, I am embarrassed when I saw how the photos came out today! But it was a really good experience though, being in front of the camera which I love hahahaa. Hope that I can do it at least once in the future for fashion! :D Anyways, it was a new experience because it's my family's first time and everyone were like clumsily moving around and posing hahahaha. The photo taking felt like around 15 minutes only and the camera they use is like from don't know how many zillion years ago camera hahaha. But hey, that zillion camera took really high quality photos. :D PRICE. Let me tell you, be prepared to spend a BOMB! Why? Because the huge photos people normally hang up on their wall are really expensive. My family bought 1 40R for the family portrait and 2 smaller ones for my sis and me (individual) and it cost us $2000++ in total. Yes. $2000. Not $200 lololol. And so! How did the photos come out? Well, I can say the cameramen were good in knowing the perfect angles to place the books, scroll and... OH YEAH. Forgot to mention in front, you can request to take picture with this gigantic graduation bear!
The final photo I chose for the huge framed one! I have no idea where to even hang it up though... no space on my walls! And suddenly, I feel like I am taking a family photo as well and I'm married to papa bear and my little bear son just graduated from bear school. Gahahahahaha! xD
Honestly, I hate most photos and many would know I am in the process of leaving my hair long. Turned out that I had a bad hair day on the shoot day so I am not satisfied with many shoots but luckily there are still nice ones! My sister actually told me that I look like I graduated from law school. Hahahaah, come on, means I got the smart looking face isit? Okay, kidding. OH AND I HAVEN'T SAY THIS, I LOVE THE TP ROBE BECAUSE IT IS RED LAHHHHHH! SO COINCIDENTAL. WOOO~! xD
And hor, P.S., I have NOT graduated from poly. These are taken ahead of time. :/ Aiya, sooner or later one anyways! :D Signing off!
