Yippie Yippie & Yippie! Today marks the end of internship for me and it has been a long 4 months (exactly 16 weeks). Internship is a compulsory module for all polytechnic students and if I'm not wrong, optional for university students to take. Normally when I hear seniors, no matter from what course, talk about internship, the comments are full of agony and suffering. Hahaha. Indeed, I would somehow use the same words because I am someone lazy. But imagine fighting for seats and waiting to get from one end of Singapore to near the other. In the past, before my dad got his driving license, I used to think he is crazy because he travels literally from Pasir Ris to JooKoon everyday to and fro from work. But he is really crazy right!? But to me, Pasir Ris to Kent Ridge is already a long way :( Actually it IS really a long way right? Luckily, I have my father to fetch me to and fro. Unluckily, my father goes oversea really often so when that happens I have to take the train. Yes, I know, I am really lazy. Describe working life in short terms? I guess it would be a super tiring life that I hope I will get to as late as possible in my life. Hahaha. Oh and the upside is that when you knock off from work, you have the rest of the day free for yourself! FREE FROM WORRIES. Unlike when you are studying still need to what... study for test or do homework. But guess what? Even though you are free already hor, you're already super tired. Cannot apply to all kinds of jobs lah but I remember sometimes I just go home bathe, eat and then GO STRAIGHT TO SLEEP. Most of the time is around 9.30pm but I remember there was once I fell asleep at 8pm. Literally only about 1 hour after I got home (20min bathe, 40min watch TV and eat). Well, unfortunately for TP students, they give an extra module so at the same time we have to worry about it all day. For students who are working on the weekends for extra money won't have much spare time which = more worry. I have no idea what the school is up to, but as a student, the only thing I can do is to feedback that it is a super bad idea. So overall my experience has been really good. I remember dear colleagues treating me to yummy stuff like waffles and chocolates hahahaa. Too bad my appetite is really bad now. Internship is over so that means holidays are here! And seriously this one much cherish because once MP begins, my life would be upside down for a long time. Being a science student has bad points too because you cannot paint your nails! So now is time to jump out! And usually every holiday I dye my hair right? Yeah, hint hint lah. I'll post on it soon. IF I get it done lah Hahaha.
