Helloooooooo~ Its a fine Sunday yesterday and also the last day of holidays to those in University like Yanling hahaha. So yesterday was the day the two of us went to watch The Smurfs 2!
Honestly, I have always been neutral to the Smurfs but I was quite shocked that the cinema was not really packed despite it being the first weekend and 4th day since the movie was released. Overall, the show was not that great in the beginning because it was quite boring but as it progressed, there was a build up in fun and adventure and some parts of the show were interesting like the spinning Ferris Wheel. There was nothing special with the storyline and the events were quite predictable. The introduction of the 2 new characters The Naughties: Vexy and Hackus was really good and the two are very interesting characters that made the movie even better with more jokes. Omg, I LOVE HACKUS! He is super funny and cute and I also love Vexy's hair! Well, I guess Gargamel had some sense of style too?
I guess the movie surrounds a quote by Papa Smurf which I found really meaningful:
It doesn't matter where you come from. What matters is who you choose to be.
Overall, its around a 3.3/5 for me. Not a bad show to catch but won't watch repeatedly in cinema.
