Hi hi and hello! It's finally September and once again, another month closer to my birthday~ And today is my daddy's birthday! Guess where we went? Hahahahahahaa. You'll never would've guessed it I think because we went to Maritime Museum and S.E.A Aquarium once again! Yes, AGAIN ;)
If you missed out on my older post of the attraction, you can see it by going here.
By the way, the ticketing attendant from before was right because there were lesser people than my previous trip even though today is a weekend and previously was a weekday. So... yayyyyyyyy!
So before entering the attraction, my family walked over to this steamboat restaurant called Coca Restaurant for a very filling lunch! For steamboat lovers like me, you've to try this because they have really delicious wanton and their other ingredients are really fresh.
An important thing to me would be the chili sauce and even though we were having Tom Yum soup base (omg, my fav!), the chili simply made everything more delicious. It was unlike the normal chili taste. If you've eaten Fat Fish Restaurant and tasted their chili, it's about the same taste. Simply delicious!
I'm not going to repeat every I've mentioned from before but just some stuff I didn't include from before~ First and foremost, a really short show that is located right at the entrance. Even those without tickets can see this really short clip of a summary of the story they highlighted. They had a lion head that could breathe out smoke through his nostrils and open his mouth to roar.
Everything for the Maritime Museum was the same and the Henna queue was super long once again :( BUT! Today I managed to get a closer look at the designs offered and they were super pretty! It made me super reluctant to walk away but I just had to :(
Oh and the Typhoon Theater mentioned during my previous visit is only free for weekdays. You've to pay an additional fee if you want to enter it during the weekends so we simply skipped it. If you've never been, you should give it a go because the effects were amazing!
Moving on~ It's the S.E.A aquarium once again! Despite it being the second time I've been there in like 2-3 weeks, still pretty excited to see the pretty fishes again!
Something I didn't mention in the previous post
Theres a part where the fish are right below you!
Honestly, a little scary haha
This is the wrecked ship continued from the Maritime Museum
It was made really well and the first thing that comes into mind is Titanic
Don't ask me, I don't know why too
But fascinating ;)
This is a sea-horse if you can't tell
Really pretty right!?
Unfortunately, my sis told me its an endangered species :(
What's this? Its an Eel!
To me, it was really disgusting because there were MANY in a single tank
and all of them were sticking out of the many holes in the rocks
To think that I actually love Unagi sushi! DAMN @.@
Alongside the Eel that I missed out during the first visit,
I found this guy today
Yes, and I'm saying this guy because I don't know what he is
A Squid I guess? Sorry I'm a noob when it comes to identifying sea creatures
This creature was alone in the tank and if you notice,
his eyes are like closed like he is sleeping
The truth is, some dumb tourists actually ignored the signs and
used flash when they were taking their photos!
An experienced guy leading a group of people on a tour was saying
that if it gets more agitated, it would actually spill its ink to protect itself
Poor guy :(
Omg I love this photo I took of the tiny jellyfish
There's this galaxy feel as well coming from the tiny particles in the background
Truthfully, its hard to get a good shot of these little babies
because they move fast!
Its a Sea Urchin!
This is also something I missed out from the previous visit
And the only thing that came to mind was Freddi Fish
Hahahahaha
If you don't know what Freddi Fish is, it's my childhood game ;)
And finally, it's once again the world's largest aquarium!
Well you should be able to see the little windows at the other end of the tank from where I was and those are hotel rooms. Apparently there are only 11 of such rooms available and after I have looked into how these rooms are like, I'm like literally jaw dropped!
They have like a Jacuzzi bathtub just beside the viewing window, another Jacuzzi outdoors, 24-hour butler service and much much more! Check it out here! But guess what? I heard that one night in the exclusive suite costs SGD$2,000+ -.-"
And so this marks the end of a really fun day spent with my family. I'm really tired right now so I'm going to end this entry right here. From tomorrow on, I've to go back to reality and start working hard for MP!
