Hello~ There has been lack of updates and I'm so sad that I don't have the time to blog. Finally, it's the end of the week and so I've time to spare! After an awesome buffet at Seoul Garden this afternoon, I went off to catch the movie 'The Frozen Ground' that has just hit the cinemas yesterday.
Honestly, I never had imagined myself going to watch this movie as the trailer was just mehhh to me. But somehow, ended up in the cinema. The lead actor and actress are Nicholas Cage and Vanessa Hudgens. Summary of the show by me: It about Nicholas Cage as Halcombe, a detective who believed that all the cases of missing girls from a long period of time are all related and he soon finds Cindy (Vanessa Hudgens) who is a prostitute who had managed to escape from a serial killer. Apparently, the serial killer was the one behind many cases of raping and killing of girls for 13 years. So simply, Halcombe unravels the case and brought the killer to justice. The show was just mehhh like how I thought it would be and I almost fell asleep at one point. It may be boring but the point is that the movie is based on a true story by a detective of another name which pretty much made us quite erm... should I say, taken aback? When the show ends, they showed the real photos of girls who were the victims and information on the date of their disappearance and whether their bodies were retrieved in the end. Can't help to think that some people can be so cruel in the real world and it's just so upsetting. I kind of expected that the cinema would be quite empty and it was true. Even though it is only the second day of release, the response isn't too good. I wouldn't recommend anyone to see this. Rating 1.5/5.
