Morning! It's super early to blog, I know. But finally my internet is up once again and I'm desperate to blog so here I am! Just on Tuesday which was thankfully a public holiday, me and my sis went off to the city area to chill! Staying at home was so boring because the internet is down :( Actually I passed the Charlie Brown Cafe like a zillion times before but I have never tried anything from it. We were there at around 6 in the evening and every restaurant would have queues but there wasn't any at this cafe so we decided to give it a try!
Simply too adorable right? There was also the snoopy and Charlie Brown sculpture but I didn't take a picture with it :(
If you don't know why Charlie Brown is special to me, it's because when I was young, I had natural brown hair and somehow, my aunt just brought it up one day saying that I actually look like Charlie Brown! In what way, I don't know but the joke is still brought up regularly until this day.
Honestly, I did not have any high expectation when I entered because it just looked a little out of nowhere by the side of the walkway that I always pass to Cineleisure Orchard. Their menu was also kind of plain with a few choices but the cute thing is the appearance like the snoopy or Charlie Brown face using chocolate powder.
The main dish both me and my sister ordered: Chicken rice (SGD$13.80)! It looked super good on the menu and I never expected it to look just as yummy in real! Even though the rice was rather meh and dry, the chicken was definitely the star. It was roasted and tastes nothing like the usual Chinese chicken rice. Definitely the best chicken rice I have ever tasted! The portion they gave was pretty huge too but after finishing it, I still wanted more. Too yummy and a must try!
Yummy dessert for me sistarrrr! Charlie's Peanut Crepe (SGD$9.80)! The ice cream melted like super fast and it was like a chocolate pool of the crepe but it was super delicious too. The warm peanut just melts in your mouth and actually I wanted more after my sister let me try but I knew that I would end up just taking the entire thing. Greedy me. This is what I'm going order the next time I visit them!
Moi dessert! Chocolate Lava Cake (SGD$8.00)!
I have this thing for lava cake and it has been ages since I last ate one so... craving satisfied! This is really yummy and the chocolate was not very very sweet because if it does, I would be super guilty after eating. This was delicious as well but I still think the peanut crepe was better.
After you pay for the bill, they gave us this! A really adorable reward card and a free keychain! Major adorable!

What's more about the Charlie Brown Cafe is that there is no service charge! There is even a television showing cute Charlie Brown cartoon and it was a really pleasant environment for your meal. I saw many people buying the milkshakes too but I was too bloated to try. Never look down on this cafe, it's good!
