Christina Grimmie used to produce only covers of songs and she would be in her bedroom with her keyboard but she has moved on really far until day. She has her own album and has performed on numerous stages. Oh and and, Selena Gomez is actually her mentor and she has performed in some performing acts for Selena's tour.

What inspired me for this post is that The Vampire Diaries, which you should've known by now that I'm crazy and gaga all over, used an original song by Christina Grimmie for the latest episode, season 5 episode 7: Death and the Maiden.
The song is played in the background during the scene when Bonnie thought that she was going to leave Jeremy forever as the supernatural barrier was about to be taken down and Jeremy told her that he loved her. But in actual fact, Tessa had actually managed to successfully bring her back to life and Elena and Caroline could finally see her once again in front of them. A perfect song for such a perfect scene is Christina Grimmie's With Love.

It's so amazing and I have this song on replay. She has a really beautiful voice and I could not believe that she is actually the same age as (1994 baby yay!) so it kind of made me feel talented-less because she's so established and all. Anyway, she's my favourite youtube singer and even though she hardly ever does any covers anymore, her own original songs are amazing.
