Two-Oh-One-Three

34
Hello hello!

As everyone knows, 2013 is coming to an end and so I'm putting together this post on all the major things that have happened in this year. And I'm planning to do this for every year from this year on. Yeah.

1. Trilogy Craze
I have never ever never ever (must say twice HAHA) been into books and they always bore me. But! This year, I've got myself three book series that I totally indulge myself in and they are none other than...........

THE HUNGER GAMES
(Currently reading Mockingjay)

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS
(Currently reading City of Fallen Angels)

THE INFERNAL DEVICES
(Not started yet tho)

2. US
The US trip earlier this year was my first "big" trip in a long long time. Visiting LA, Vegas and San Francisco, it was the best holiday I ever had with my family. Walking down the streets shopping in the cool weather, I love love love that feeling!

LOS ANGELES
Hollywood sign/Walk of Fame
California Universal Studios
California Disneyland and Adventure Theme Park

LAS VEGAS
Grand Canyon
Helicopter ride down to the Grand Canyon
at the price of SGD$200++/person @.@

Spot me! Spot me!

Forgot where this was
But I remember the beautiful grassland!
I immediately laid down and was telling my mum and sister
'eh take photo for me can'
Then I began to pose pose and pose until they cannot tahan me
lololol

SAN FRANCISCO
Twin Peak
Golden Gate Bridge
Fisherman's Wharf

Yeah and this was where the seagull stole my corn dog
lololol
I will remember this place for life!

3. Fashion
I've always been into fashion but this year I took a step forward for taking ootds. Well, some think that it is like a meaningless thing to do but I feel that sharing your fashion style and showing some good photography skills is good. That's why I do that. Yeah HAHA

And I began to blogshop! I admit, I am addicted to blogshopping and half of my time on Instagram is to check out instashops. Well, life of a shopaholic~

4. Internship
4 months of working at a research center exposed me to many new difficulties and challenges. I enjoyed my time working and at the same time it was finally clear to me what I do NOT want in my life. I mean career wise. When you can't decide what you want, you can first of all decide what you do not want right?

5. Sick & Hospitalized
As someone who doesn't fall sick easily, the biggest blow in year 2013 was falling sick. It has been 6++ months but I'm still going strong. One of the biggest things that has happened in my life and I'm both grateful and not grateful for this. Lol.

And and and good news, just 3 days ago, I found out I am fully recovered! Omg I swear I was super happy that I keep asking the doc "Really? Really ah? You not kidding right?". Now I think of it, it's also quite stupid because how can the doc be lying lololol. And I teared up.

Seriously, it has been the longest 6 months in my life and there were just so many times when I just wanted to give up so badly. To all people who have been worried for me for such a long time, I thank you and I am sorry. I will take care of my health and make sure I will not have any relapse.

Especially to my dear mummy who took care of me and even though you appear strong in front of me, I know you are worried all the time. Even when I make decisions that you don't approve of, you just advised me and prayed for me to get well. I think I could not have made it to this day without you. I love you so much!

6. Halloween
The last time I celebrated Halloween was back when I was around 14 or 15 years old and that was my first time so 2013 is my second time.

I used to be like a real chicken but it made me stronger and I finally got to understand how fun Halloween can really be. Celebrated at Universal Studios Singapore and Downtown East. Good experience and definitely going for more in 2014!

7. Instagram
In the beginning it was Friendster then Facebook then Twitter then there comes Instagram and after that there's Dayre. Out of all social networking apps, I love Instagram the most and I remember I first made my account during Internship and I'm hooked (yes, I admit I am!) to it until this day!

Alright to sum it all up, 2013 has been the most impact-ful year of my life with loads of ups and downs. I tried a few new things I have never done in my life and I'm quite proud of myself.

2014...
Throughout my poly life, I have been fighting and have been so uncertain about my future after I graduate. Now that it is finally senior year and I am going to graduate in about 3-4 months, it is finally the time I make a major decision for myself.

Don't know how that will turn out but I know 2014 will also be a great year because I have stuff planned out for myself to accomplish. Yeah, everyone has new year resolutions right?

But I'm not going to mention them now because my next post will be all about that so stay tuned alright? Before closing the final post for year 2013, I just want to say thank you to my dear friends and family for this fruitful year and let's not look back, let's move ahead together to a great 2014.

Happy New Year! ;)
