'CRUSH' was a huge success obtaining an all-kill and topping many charts and #1 in many countries including Singapore! And that was right after the release. It had so much attention to it and met perfectly with the hype about it. Customer reviews on iTunes are all five stars.
Personally as a fan, I have always loved 2NE1 because they have songs that are not from the typical k-pop scene that I'm getting sick of lately. Yeah, I hardly listen to any Korean songs now.
The vibe is just different and I love hip-hop and raps which is one of the many reasons why I dig this album as CL practically killed it in most of the songs. And its kind of obvious in that sense that the song I love most from the album is track 06 'MENTAL BREAKDOWN' (MTBD for short) followed by track 02 'COME BACK HOME'. I mean seriously, who can dislike or hate Come Back Home?
Actually I love each and every song in the album and whats really impressive is that leader CL composed 3 songs out of the 10 in the album which are track 01 'CRUSH', 04 'IF I WERE YOU' and 09 'BABY I MISS YOU'. I have liked each and every song 2NE1 has released from their debut (I'm not kidding about this lol EACH AND EVERY).
I love watching music response videos and D.R.E uploaded his video just a few days ago right after the release and it's so funny I have to share it hahaha. He was so into the music and he CRIED after listening song of the songs out of happiness lololol!
And SamySimonian too because the way he acts in the video is really funny in a good way, I'm not mocking him. What he said for each song was so precise and true.

02. COME BACK HOME
(TITLE TRACK)
Released just today at 02:01 KST was 'Come Back Home', the head title track of the album 'CRUSH'. The release of the MVs were actually because more time was required for the high tech visuals of the MV and its clear why they needed more time. The result is solid. Practically the best MV I've been from kpop.
Rather than just the typical kpop MVs with members lip-syncing to the camera and dancing, a meaningful story is behind the video that makes it more unique than ever!
'Come Back Home' is actually shown as 'Come Back Home To Reality' in the story as they showed the 'Virtual Paradise' in the beginning and 2NE1 moving into the virtual world. Well this is just what I think because no one in the comments seems to know what's going on haha.
I think the guy in a relationship with Dara has cancer and so he turns to the virtual world where everything looks like perfection. So he turns down his medication in front of Dara (mashing it into powder on the table) to send the message across to her not to try convincing him anymore. So Bom, Minzy and CL helps her by preparing to destroy the virtual world (in the lab they were in). Escaping from reality, the guy shaves his head and goes into the virtual world (he was wearing the head gear on the bed).
In the second half of the video 2NE1 enters the virtual world, trashed the place and sparked a revolution. At the end of the video, it returns to the beginning where you see the world 'Virtual Paradise' through the window, signifying that they have returned to the real world.
Normally if it was a kpop video with the song 'Come Back Home' if would be like predictable with the girl wanting the guy to come back home after a break up or something right? And they inserted a part from the unplugged version after the first chorus!
Really a huge surprise because it exceeded expectations again. Once again, 2NE1 show that their fierce and strong charisma. I love it!

07. HAPPY
Also released today at 02:01 KST was 'HAPPY'! The MV was clearly shot in the US (omg beginning to miss the beautiful streets of LA :() and the surprise is JEREMY SCOTT IS INSIDE THE VIDEOS OMGGG.
Like the title of the song says, the video is just about all of them happy and goofing around the streets of US. Not forgetting to flaunt awesome outfits and once again I want each and every piece they wore jeez. The video is full of colour and funny animations to go with the mood that makes the viewer happy as well. Very naturally, 2NE1 hangs around and show how much fun they had.

So YG entertainment actually said that they would be releasing an MV for 'CRUSH' and 'COME BACK HOME (UNPLUGGED VERSION)' but I feel that this post is just getting a little too long. Also I'm too excited to post it so I'm just gonna go it in a separate post. Hope those two MVs will be out real soon!
