Summary (from gv.com.sg)
'For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Hary Osborn (Dane Dehaan), returns, Peter comes to realized that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.'
Let me just say that I love Emma Stone andAndrew Garfield is so hot hahaha. Spider-Man is beginning to have different versions of the story released in movies like Batman and Superman that have numerous versions of how the main character's story begins.
Personally I feel that The Amazing Spider-Man series is much better than the old version. Not because I am biased because Andrew Garfield is hot unlike Tobey Maguire, but because there is more depth in this series. Besides Peter Parker finding out who he truly is as a person after he obtains his power, this series explores what happened to Peter's parents.
The action is amazing as usual and I can't help but wonder how the hell can they film some parts because it looks so natural and real but it can never be real. This movie focuses more on Peter's feelings and how it affects his decisions. Things are never the same, it will be hard like how most movies are.
Overall, it was quite a good movie to catch but it is only around the same level of all the Spider-Man movies. Some comedy is also introduced and I hate the sad ending. Great job by all actors especially Emma Stone and its a movie worth the price of a cinema ticket. ;)
