Part II of cafehopping is here! So on that joyful day, Jan and I hopped to 5 different cafes around Haji Lane and I have already shared on Shop Wonderland and (working title). Today's post is all aboutArtistry and Cake Love! The 3rd cafe we visited was La Marelle but I have already posted about it before (check it out by clicking here) so I'm not going to post about it again.
ARTISTRY
We stumbled across Artistry by accident because we were looking for The 7th Cylinder which is the cafe I was really looking forward to (we found it and it was closed in the end, damn). The cafe is facing the main road so it's kind of hard to miss if you're walking around the area.
Finally a stop for waffles! Well, we actually ordered because we saw it was only SGD$10.00! With a slightly special tasting vanilla ice cream, it was super delicious. And honestly, both of us are not big fans of waffles. A really cozy environment with really cute decoration like Singlish books and signs.
It's a really good place to chill because there are sofas which makes the experience really comfy along with great service! A really simple visit but I'm sure I will be back for more one day.
And of course, it is a great place for pictures. Jan just went snapping and snapping away~
Last cafe visited on that day and the 2nd one we stumbled upon looking for The 7th Cylinder, Cake Love is located right opposite! Really cute signs as well that I can't help to camwhore with. Finally Red Velvet on that day! We tried Salted Caramel and Red Velvet macaroons plus lava cake!
Cake Love is a more bright and wide cafe as compared to the others and the prices of the food are a little more pricey but the macaroons and lava cake were super awesome! With the tiny little bits of what seems like nuts being crispy and yummy, it was simply perfect. The lava cake melts in your mouth and the vanilla ice cream compliments it by not leaving your throat too dry after the rich chocolate goes through!
It's so amazing how these small but amazing cafes are in hiding by the corners of Singapore. It was really a good experience searching about these places online and going around the area to look for it plus snap photos at the same time.
Oh and before I forget, I want to thank Jan for some of the great photos (even though some she spam take like siao then we scout for the perfect one hahah) taken especially for my OOTD shots. I always love to take OOTD shots but also have to find the right photographer and she is just so awesome at taking such shots for me.
T.G.I.F and let's welcome the weekends and hope that it will be an awesome one! ;)
