Hello there! It has been a busy couple of days but here I am to blog again! I have pushed back some of my posts as you probably can see by my graduation post delayed for 2 weeks already. Anyways, life is kinda good besides busy earning money from my part-time. Warning, this post is just to dump photos floating by in my computer folder that I want to post.
Hello there Pugguboy, why do you have a blueberry on your nose?
Well, it's to keep his mouth shut when taking photo!
We noticed that he loves to leave his tongue out but he looks so much cuter with his mouth closed hahaha
So we had to bribe him
This isn't a food post but let me just share OWL Cafe! Yumz for Stir-fried spaghetti with seafood chili crab! OMG I was trying to hold back because I'm thinking of maintaining my diet but failed after I took my first bite hahaahah. The cafe sells alot of food that goes well with the Singaporean taste like chili crab and laksa. Gonna try it again if I can!
Not forgetting Father's Day that has just gone by yesterday? Celebrated it on Saturday over at FIKA Swedish Cafe and Bistro!
Selfie before leaving~

My fav Aglio Olio
Cecil introduced me to the one over at Peperoni and I wanted to try the one over at FIKA
Let me say first, I am not a fan of Aglio Olio BUT this is one is utterly delicious!
Baked meringue filled with almond cream, with mixed berries, coulis and toasted almond
The first time I'm treating my daddy to a meal at a high-class (sort of) place and I admit I was a little taken aback by the bill when it came. Well, I think it is worth it for my daddy's big day. The steak and meringue dessert was part of the Father's Day special that was only available for 2-3 days around Father's Day but I'm really upset that they don't have this dessert on their menu because it was EFFING GOOD!
The outer layer is sort of half crispy half soft and on the inside is the almond cream. With the sweet syrup and fruits topping, it was heaven. The waiter even told my dad that if he wants to enjoy the dessert, he should not let us try a single bite! Maybe I enjoyed it even more because I love meringues, strawberries and almond!
Moving on~ Let me just talk about movies now of days. I wanted to compile all the movies I went to catch in cinemas lately because I have been making a trip there more often lately hahaha. I'm just going to post it here then.

X-MEN! Hahaha I have been a fan since a long time even though non of my family members are a fan of the series. On the super plus plus plus side, my fav actress Jennifer Lawrence is acting as Mystique and this is the thing that kept me most interested in watching the movie. She did a fantastic performance in X-MEN: First Class and was even more amazing in this movie. The movie focuses a lot on emotion instead of fighting this time and all actors did a great job. As always, combat scenes are amazing and there is even some comedy added to it. A great show to catch!
DISNEY'S MALEFICENT

Elle Fanning (Aurora)

Robert Stromberg

I have never been an Angelina Jolie fan but I caught the movie because I love Sleeping Beauty. It was one of the stories my mum would read to me as a kid. The movie may look like a remake of the fairytale with a twisted tale but it is actually much more than that. The movie actually teaches us a few things: 1. True love may not come from the prince on the white horse 2. No matter how broken you are, there is always hope to a brighter tomorrow. It teaches us that love can recover a broken heart. Well, there are much more things that the movie tells us. Like most stories, we do only know the story from one side but you'll never what happened on the other side. This just reminds me of a quote from CW The Originals by Camille: No, the world isn't awful. People are not awful. They want to be good. Something makes them bad. Something breaks them down, makes them snap. [SPOILER ALERT!] Overall, Angelina Jolie's performance was really good as her portrayed emotions could really make relate to the character. For example, how she showed how broken Maleficent was after Stefan cut off her wings. I was really surprised at how well she acted and I really admire her right now after watching the movie. She made a simple twisted story really good.

Okay super love this movie because I love performances by Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore! 2 really funny cast together with great supporting cast. The show is really hilarious and I think everyone should watch this with family. I was laughing 90% of the time throughout the movie. Even though they focus on comedy, the movie also emphasizes on the bond between family and love. I would super recommend this movie to all! Really enjoyable!
EDGE OF TOMORROW

Doug Liman

Another Tom Cruise movie that is similar to Oblivion. Aliens and the special feature of the movie is the day repeating again and again. It really reminded me of games because you re-spawn after dying to try again but in a different way to defeat the enemy. It is a nerve-wrecking show if you are the type who tend to imagine yourself in the movie like me. Loads of action and great acting from Tom Cruise as well as Emily Blunt. Her body and muscles look so good! People who love action movies would love this!
Alright, that will be all for this post. Lets all enjoy the brand new week shall we? Oh, and before I end off, some selfies because I just feel like posting them up kekeke~ Don't be mistaken, my lighting affected how my hair colour turned out ;)
