Hello guys! I'm sure most of you have been asked by others which part of your body are most proud of. I have asked this question to quite a few of my peers and most give the same answer: my eyes. Well, no doubt because the eyes are the windows of the soul and the eyes can make a huge difference in terms of appearance. And I know that super well because I look very different with and without contacts on hahaha. I would give the same typical answer as well but I have something else too. I am proud of my skin condition as well. It hasn't been long since I've began to put on make up and even though I haven't been putting much of it, I feel that it has somehow affected my skin. If you've read my previous posts, I have revealed that I have really dry skin that is now relieved by Korean brand The odbo's Aqua Soothing Essence (click here to read if you haven't) which I have been using for months but I definitely have more problems than that. I have huge pores around my nose area and well, I am sometimes insecure about it. Blame me for being vain but I am sure ALMOST everyone is. We always care if we look presentable or dress appropriately. To me, my skin condition is extremely important. Probably because I rarely get breakouts but that has its flaw as well. Imagine a piece of paper with a single marker dot on it. Yes, it gets so much more attention. So, where is this post going? A good thing to share, I was at Ion Orchard's SEPHORAwhen I saw the event by SK-II. People who love to watch YOUTUBE videos would have definitely seen the advertisement before. The young lady who said she just turned 26 years old but her skin age is 19 years. The ad also shows the SK-II Magic Ring test so having the chance of experiencing it, this post is to share my experience. Now, what is the SK-II Magic Ring? It is a device used to calculate/measure your wrinkle resilience, refined texture, radiance, firmness and spots control.
This procedure is absolutely free and you get to see up close how your skin looks like on the computer screen! The friendly SK-II beauticians will advice you on how you can improve your skin condition according to your results. Anyone can give it a try and it only takes at most a minute to see your results! So why not right!?

Roses for ladies who are around the area!
Whoa la! My skin age is 14 years! I was super insecure moments before the test and I was unsure what age to put under actual. Well, technically, I am still 19. So I just put 19 in the end hahah. And I was saying that I should have put 20 because it would look more impressive. Hahaha just kidding. Anyways, I was looking at the second photo about the %s and I was thinking about it in the academic way like 50% and below is FAIL. That means I'm not that far away from the fail line right? Nope, that doesn't mean anything actually. I mean, I don't really believe anyone can get perfect skin and the beautician told me that no one has gotten 80-90% in the past few days. I can't be so bad. But hey, we're still talking about all the ladies who are mostly older than me. For me I only have a slight problem with my texture refinement which is, once again, dryness of the skin. It's such a huge leap from 13-14 years to 18 years. It's still good I think because it's still younger than my actual age. If I haven't been using The odbo, I can't imagine what age would my skin be in texture refinement. Thank god. Honestly, this really made my day because as I have mentioned, I am super proud of my skin. Not saying that it is super super good but I think it's considered in the better side. I've not used much products on my face besides Clean&Clear cleanser and The odbo products that I only started using since March. I have never used SK-II products in my life too. From having your Magic Ring test, you can get an SK-II mask for free and I gave it to my mom haha. If you get positive results like me, the beautician will take a passport-like photo of you and your photo will have a chance of appearing at an SK-II event at the end of August and you can get more SK-II products if your photo is chosen! The event is on from 24 July to 20 August!
After a long day of walking around town, dessert at THE PROVIDORE~!
The combination of my favourite tea and cake
#goodness
Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of the place but it's a super cool cafe-like environment. You probably can tell by the tea set in the photo. They have a huge range of teas and you can just order one with your friend for a chat. There was even a huge range for Earl Grey teas alone. I ordered my fav Classic Earl Grey and Red Velvet cake. Damn, their cream cheese was sinful but yummy. If you're wondering with your friends around town area and you have nothing to do at night, you can always pop by and chill at The Providore because the place closes at 11pm which is later than most other cafes/restaurants. Can't wait to be back for more goodness!
