Hello! A few more days left before I begin to work for real. So of course I have to enjoy the last few days of... freedom? Hahahah suddenly I feel like I'm a student who is looking back and wondering why the holidays are ending so soon again. I miss being a student :( So just yesterday I was cafe-hopping, we chanced upon Meomi: Cat Cafe over at the Arab Street/Haji Lane area. I've heard of dog cafes but I've never seen a cat one and the cousins were so excited but my face was like 0.0. I've never been a fan of animals with fur because I get goosebumps when I think about the fur brushing past my skin. Well actually I'm sort of afraid of all kinds of animals in general. Let's just make it clear that afraid does not mean dislike/hate alright? Since everyone was sort of looking forward to it, why not right? It would be bad to say no. Tho in the end I'm glad I did go in lah hahaha.

Okay so in the beginning we were sitting by our table which is on the floor, I snuggled myself by the wall and stuff the cushions around me like a wall. So at first it was like I was in the Zoo lmao. I was using my iPhone camera to zoom in to get blurry photos like the one on top LOL.
Slowly becoming brave, I went forward to my favourite cat of all, MARIO. Sort of my type of cat I think. I do prefer lighter fur colours so my attention was more to him and another cat with complete white fur. Too adorable you fat furry things!

I really love love love the white one and the reason why I took near-nearer-nearest above is because I wanted to see his eyes. Snow white fur with glowing blue eyes. Why you no wake up kitty? This cat slept all the way through the time we were there.

It was really something new because I have never had much experience with cats in my life. All I've done is avoid stray cats who linger around my HDB block because they always scare me when I'm walking home at night hahah.
Most likely the cats have been sort of trained not to attack/bite/scratch their customers and they were super tame. All walking around with their heads up high and avoiding our reached out hands like a pro. Well, I guess living in a super clean cafe with air-conditioning with humans trying to play with you along with toys everyday would make you like that lah. Super chill, lazy and sleepy. All of them keep sleeping every corner they go to LOL.
I want a life like them. Wake up, play, eat, sleep, repeat. Who don't want right!?
It was a fun experience to crawl around after the cats for photos hahaha. These cats all supermodel already. Super posy but they turn away really quickly. I guess after an hour in the cafe, I got used to it and I wasn't really afraid after some time.
Oh and I did touch them too. On my own will. That's sort of an accomplishment to me lah. I guess maybe someone should just throw me into a dog cafe so that I can also overcome my fear of dogs hahahahaa. I think I would go back there again but I just hope the cats can be more lively next time. But not lively to jump over you or something. Hahaha. They are just too cute.
