Hello! I am super duper duper guilty for not updating this space for sometime! So much has happened especially for work. Waking up in the early hours of the morning is slowly becoming a habit and finally I realize that I've been putting on weight! Well... there may just be one thing that is contributing to all the adding on. Just a few days ago, I went back to my fav dessert place once again and... guess what was on the shelf that day!?
!PADDLE POP CHEESECAKE!
Was already super full from dinner at Eat. Play. Love (will be posting about it at a later date) but I knew I had to get the cheesecake the moment I laid eyes on it. Stuffed it down to the tummy and was super satisfied for the day. Oh, what these desserts do to me lahhh.
And... a special day for me is coming real soon too. I realized that now of days, things are different for birthdays. I don't know for all the other people out there but this is my take of it. You know how presents are supposed to be? Wrapped up with pretty wrapping paper so that the birthday boy/girl doesn't know what is inside? That moment when you watch that someone whom you got a present for open it up. I always love that moment.
But now, most parents/friends simply just ask what the birthday boy/girl wants and just buy it for them. Yes, you may be 100% sure that the special someone would like the gift because he/she picked it out themselves but to me it's just... empty feelings. I just dislike it when people ask me what I want instead of just brainstorming on what I may possibly like or want and get it for me. There may be mixed thoughts because what if the special someone doesn't like what you get for them right? Well, it's the thought that counts. Enough said.
Anyways, just letting my thoughts flow out. I got my second present as a surprise from my sister just last night and I was so happy. My first VICTORIA'S SECRET stuff and I've been watching their fashion shows and all lately. Said to be very popular, VS's Bombshells in Bloom~
