You have to scan your apartment card to gain access into the building and also for the lift
The place consisted of two bedrooms with king/queen-sized beds, 2 toilets connected to the bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a dining area and a flight of stairs connecting the two floors.
It was just too awesome. For people who are skeptical about Airbnb apartments, I'm not so experienced in renting apartments by the website but I can say that this one is super good! Super true to the photos!
I can't comment on how near the villa is from the MRT station tho because I didn't take their public transport. We took Tuktuks and taxis all the time. They were all super cheap that we couldn't help but wonder how they could earn a living. Even though you have to just drive all the way straight from the villa to reach Platinum Mall, the road is normally jammed and it took us about 30-50 minutes to get there.
Snacks beside the enclosure where the cute doggies roam
Oh my gosh cute!!!
For anyone who is interested in visiting,
Their food are rather meh except for the desserts :)
Wearing our dwarf-looking feet protection gear before we enter the enclosure
Dogs gone crazy over food lololol
Say hi to Momo!
And obviously Yanling would be crazily excited going round taking selfies of the huskies like what she does to the dogs at the animal shelter she volunteers at
His/Her eyes are so beautiful...!
Cheesecakes and ice cream cakes whoooooo!
Each person is entitled to a free slice of any cake of your choice when you pay for entry
Heading off to Union Mall next! It's like Platinum Mall part II.
OH WAIT
THIS THIS THIS!
I I I
GOTTA SHARE!
Well maybe I'm just an idiot that is outdated
But this place known as Seoul Grill... WAS SO WORTH IT!
Meatttt
And as you saw in the previous few photos, the raw food/ingredients are on the conveyor belt (that Japanese use to bring out sushi in Singapore) and are free for all!
Not only the cheapo food, they had food like liver, clams, fish, prawns etc
FREE FREAKIN' FLOW
+
Sushi, drinks and ice cream
Why doesn't Singapore have something like this???
And wait, it's in MOOKATA style as well
Damn damn damn
The soup was super tasting at the ending
And last and foremost, the most amazing thing is that it was only... 299 baht (SGD11.96)
How are they possibly earning money!??
And for anyone curious, I didn't get any stomachache after, PHEW!
If you're looking for budget shopping, Terminal 21 isn't really the place because the shops situated there are mostly those that are available in Singapore such as H&M and Victoria's Secret. Prices do not vary much as well. Most stores set their apparels at higher prices too and there are not much sales racks around.
Overall, Siam Gypsy Junction isn't for tourists. We hardly (or maybe didn't even) see any tourist around and the locals over there do not speak any form of English at all. The place was rather cool and vintage but I think it really depends whether or not any tourist would enjoy it there.
