Today, I turn 21.
I guess it's a day worth celebrating and reflecting
It's kind of a standard thing, every birthday, I would sit and think about the past year
Now, at the doorstep of adulthood,
I think it's kind of right to think not only about the past year but also about the past 21 years
I am not perfect
It took me quite sometime to get that fact right
People do walk out of my life regardless of what I do
Illness weighed me down but I never forget to hold on to hope
I am not perfect
But there are people who accept me for the way I am
For that, they will always be in my heart
I am proud of who I am today
