I've always been obsessed over nude lippies and I love shimmery shades which is also quite rare in the market now. I've been using Australis Velourlips for awhile now and I decided to get this one from Too Faced!
The shade Metallic Chocolate Diamonds works like a highlight to your lips aside from the nude finish. I love the shimmer and it goes on my lips like a gloss. Not to mention that the lipsticks smell like delicious chocolate!
The colour is quite faint so layers are required when applying! Love metallic sort of lip shades but can't find a shade you love? Just apply your fav matte lip cream and use this shade for a gorgeous shimmer finish!
METALLIC CANDY BAR
Moving on from my love, the nudes, I've been wanting to try darker brownish shades and the Metallic Candy Bar is just what I wanted + shimmer. It reminds me alot of Australis Rhi-rhi-wine-D (which is my current fav dark shade) and like the Chocolate Diamonds shade, this one feels like a gloss. A long lasting one!
If you want a shade that is not too bold for the occasion but still want a dark shade, Metallic Candy Bar is perfect!
Both shades are pretty great to me so far. Just a little background, I've only had 1 other shade from the liquified lipstick collection which is Melted Nude. That shade is more solid unlike the new series and I noticed that the 2 metallic shades I got seem to be more smudge prone than the previous series. The staying power is still pretty good tho (I usually reapply 4-5 hours later).
The old shades from the liquified lipstick collection goes at SGD$30.00 and the newer metallic shades are sold at SGD$33.00 at SEPHORA. Yes, it's pretty pricey but the quality of this product makes it really worth the price!
