Hello! The last day of September is coming to an end and October is going to be a roller coaster. I hope it will haha. Besides a new job, it's a reminder that my birthday is approaching and honestly I'm not really looking forward to hitting 20. I think it's rather depressing when your first digit increase. So this post is another yummy food sharing one. Back in June, I visited Cake Love with Jan and I knew I have to return one day after trying their macaroons and lava cake (check out the post by clicking here). So there I was again when I was cafe-hopping for more goodness. This time, it's up to a whole new level.
RED VELVET WAFFLE WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM
When it comes to food that I really love, I tend to have very high expectations. In this case, I am a HUGE Red Velvet fan and this, well this totally exceeded my expectations. My first experience with a Red Velvet flavoured waffle too. Along with the not-so-typical-tasting-but-still-awesome vanilla ice cream, it was the ultimate combo! The generous chocolate sauce was also still warm and the way it melts in your mouth just makes you addicted to it! Not only desserts, we saw a couple beside us order a huge plate full of fried food like calamari that was really mouthwatering. Plus we tried their Cream of Crab. I know right, what the hell? Yes, aside from the signature dessert, they do serve something local-ish. A little long on the waiting time but still yummy. With a nice environment with really friendly staff, Cake Love is officially the cafe I love the most now for their food. BASICALLY, THEIR RED VELVET WAFFLE LAH. All the tables around us had this magnificent dessert too. A must try for Red Velvet fans, I'll be coming back at it soon I think.
